Zims is our go-to spot. We love everything about it. Food is always on point, drinks are very well made. Friday is steak night, and Saturday is prime rib. Comes w mixed veggies, garlic bread & your choice of soup or salad & potato. There is no reason to ever leave here hungry. Steaks are always perfectly cooked. If you aren't in the mood for a steak, their salads & sandwiches are great as well, it's all great. We have never had a bad meal here. They also serve breakfast. Service is fantastic. They are all so attentive and friendly. Owners are always on site and are amazing people. You can tell they poor a lot of love into making sure everyone is taken care of & is having a good time, including their staff. Every time we go anywhere else, we always say, "We should have gone to Zims" There isnt very many places that take care of their customers with the level of service that Rachel and her staff do. Highly recommend giving them a try!!!
First time ordering delivery, was very happy with the little-to-no wait time. The delivery driver was hella chill and everything was spot on. Definitely a return customer :))
Excellent service and yummy food. Pleasant atmosphere, as we stopped for a bite to eat on our way through the Dalles after a long day of driving. Waitress was pleasant & attentive. Second time eating at this restaurant and ordering the keto meatballs; once again they did not disappoint! We also had the smoked salmon Caesar salad & the halibut sandwich Would definitely recommend eating here.
The appetizers and dessert were excellent. We had deep-fried curds and smoked turkey for an appetizer and deep fried Oreos for dessert. The smoked turkey was so moist, tender and flavorful and the carmel sauce for the curds made it so we could not stop eating them. What a clever idea. The service was very enjoyable, friendly and very helpful. I'll be going back there my next visit to The Dalles.
New waitress todays and she was great! Checked in multiple times to make sure we were doing good. Was asking if we needed refills as our drinks got low. Asked if I needed as box as I pushed back my plate. Was a great lunch and the food was out quickly. One of my favorite spots in town to grab a bite to eat.
I cant visit the dalles without coming here and ordering a plate of deep fried oreos. Everything ive had here is delicious, and the people are so friendly. A
Great spot! Lots of regulars there who obviously love this place. Very clean, well kept, and the service was excellent. So many folks were eating the Prime Rib Special, I missed out but the burger was excellent. Great stop if you're are headed through the Dalles I give 5 stars when there is nothing to complain about... Nice work folks
